Allison Pregler Bio
Allison Pregler is a reviewer who takes on Z-grade movies usually that are in the genre of martial arts and horror. genre a roughly similar beat that of The Cinema Snob but tending towards dumb action flicks and an obsession with these films. Her first review was in 2009 and after gaining some recognition in the forums (under the name of her former handle Obscurus Lupa) she joined the ranks of the Channel Awesome family. Beginning in early 2015, she joined the site while Obscurus Lupa Presents changed to Movie Nights. She hosts two podcasts which cover the Charmed franchise. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. She's been featured in numerous Channel Awesome series, from Atop the Fourth Wall through Phelous & the Movies. She was a former member of the Channel Awesome family alongside Doug Walker and often appeared on the show Nostalgia Critic.
