Anne Phung Nguyen
Anne Phung Nguyen is my name. I'm a Vietnamese American Entrepreneur living in Orange County California. My incredible fiance JP, and my happy-go-lucky Dad Henry are also part of our clan. People often recognize me as @annephung on Instagram and I write about my journey - from the ups to the downs. When I was just 1 1/2 years old, my family and I moved from the United States to America. If it wasn't for the hard work of my parents, I may not exist today to share the journey with people like you. When I realized that I had the potential to achieve a better future I set out to achieve my goals and make my parents proud. I thought my life would go the same way as I graduated from university, be offered a corporate position, get married and start a family. It was my idea of what success looked like. But life had other thoughts. It was 2013 when I found that I hated going to work at my corporate job. Status and money did make me feel happy. I felt like I was wasting time for money. My passion for fitness and my love of socializing with other people led me to discover my dream job as an instructor. In 2014, I founded my small company and I will celebrate my 7th year anniversary by 2021. Few Asian women are employed in the fashion industry. In the coaching industry I'm determined to change the world through providing high-quality training that will assist others in becoming more healthy and happy. It is my goal to inspire others to pursue their desires and lead the lives they've always wished for. My professional career began to take off when I was enjoying the highest successful times of my life. However, my mother passed away at the same time that my career began to take off. To be in Heaven she is now in peace following an eight-year fight against Scleroderma. Yet, I keep my Mom with me and dream of her every day. It is amazing how life will teach us the exact lessons we need even when we do not realize it. It was my mother's abrupt death that altered my life for good. And I really believe I was given a second chance to live my life. She passed away on Tet/Lunar New Year Day. The day was her chance to begin her new life. I got my second chance to live an enjoyable and fulfilling life. My 30's are the first time I really feel I'm living my life. As I tell my story I hope my story will be a source of inspiration for those of yours. My hope is that my words can make you aware that you're never truly alone. I believe that you are blessed with the capacity to succeed in whatever you want to achieve. Since death is the only thing that we can have I want you to enjoy living your life to the fullest and leave without regrets.
